This work has been very popular, perhaps because it’s so open to interpretation. Some people see the water’s surface, wrinkling from a drop. Others think it represents infinite space.
I worked the plate using dry point and etching techniques. To some tprints I added more colour and detail on a piece of silk paper using the chine collé technique.
