This piece is based on a aerial photograph of (a part of) Dubai. It’s a combinatoion of an intaglio and linoprint.Because I accidently carved my first lino as the mirror image of the etching, I had to start over. You can see I further adapted this lino as a seperate piece.
The intaglio print (and the linoprint layer) were printed in an edition op 15 prints.
The seperate lino, in a circular shape, was printed in an edition of 10 prints.
The etching and lino measure 21 cm x 29 cm
The paper measures approximately 29 cm x 39 cm
