Dry point experiments

These are some experiments I did with several dry point techniques. This is a technique where no chemicals or acid are involved, just the scratching on a metal plate. I just experimented some different techniques on these plates, so I only printed one or two of these. I’ve printed with burin techniques which gives a very clean result. The other prints are a lot more smudgy and have a lot of burr along the lines. This is a classic dry point technique where the needle pushes a lot of material out of the scratched lines.
